Arrival and Departure
Whether you choose one of our holiday packages or rent a self-catering gite we generally run a Saturday to Saturday programme. However, we will always try to accommodate our guests and can be flexible depending on availability. On arrival day the gites will be available from 3pm onwards and on departure day you will need to vacate by 11am.
We Do Not charge extra during school holidays.
You will find the gites clean and ask that you leave them in the same condition.
If you are having an evening meal cooked for you on arrival day, drinks will be served in the garden from 7pm with dinner served at 7.30pm. Please notify us if you are arriving late. We cater for vegetarians and other dietry needs so please make us aware at the time of booking.
Terms and Conditions
- Payment by bank transfer or cheque.
- A deposit of 25% of the total booking fee will secure your reservation.
- The final balance is required 10 weeks in advance of your arrival.
- A security deposit of £200 to cover damage, breakages and excessive cleaning is requested with your final payment.
- If you wish to cancel your booking we must receive written confirmation by email to info@velovercors.com or by post to Teresa Harte, Montee des Usines, 26190 St.Jean-en-Royans, Drome.France. Cancellation fees are as follows 10-8 weeks - deposit, 8-6 weeks 50%, 6-2 weeks 70%, less than 2 weeks 90%.

Self-catering Gites
We are open all year round and our year runs as follows:
Low Season: Jan- May, October, November
Mid Season: June, September, December
High Season: July, August

- 7 nights gite rental

Cycling holiday Packages
Weekly Package Rate includes:
- 7 nights accommodation in gite
- 7 breakfasts and 2 evening meals, incl. wine
- Towel and bedlinen rental
- 3 accompanied rides
- Comprehensive choice of cycle routes
- Fitness and training advice
- Shopping service*
- Welcome Pack
Weekend Rate includes:
- 3(4) nights accommodation in gite
- 3(4) breakfasts and 2(3) home cooked evening meals
- Towel and bedlinen rental
- 2(3) accompanied rides or choice of independent cycle routes/walking routes
- Fitness and training advice
- Welcome pack
Rate does not include:
- Travel to and from Velo Vercors. We can arrange Taxi Hire for you. Price per vehicle one-way for a max 6 persons, bikes and luggage:
- From Valence TGV – Velo Vercors 50 euro
- From Grenoble/Isere airport – Velo Vercors 65 euro
- Lunches or refreshments at morning or afternoon stops
- Additional evening meals
- Travel insurance
- Emergency rescue service
* Please inform us if you would like the taxi service when making your booking. We have arranged these fares with our local taxi driver who will need to be paid direct on the day of the journey.
* We are happy to do a small shop to cover your needs for the first couple of days. We offer this as a free service and will present you with the receipt in return for payment.
